This annual event allows Members and Non-Members an opportunity to kick-off the holiday season and give back to the community.

This year, guests brought toys that were donated to ‘Children Affected by AIDS’ and checks payable to ‘Bob Hope USO’ for calling cards for our troops overseas or on their way.

We also sponsored the Photo Booth… Stay tuned, we’re sure there will be many egregious pictures to come!

So, when we heard that the Outward Church in Salem, Oregon could reach a significant number of additional families with their Annual Thanksgiving Outreach, we were ecstatic to jump in and contribute!

       

The Outreach Program delivers entire Thanksgiving meals and Christmas Trees (and a list of other items) to families in need on Thanksgiving morning.  Imagine waking up, opening your front door, and having a complete Thanksgiving dinner handed to you – fully prepared.

And, just behind the people carrying the food stands someone with a Christmas tree, all ready to be set up and decorated in your home.

And, then, other packages and gifts are brought in for your family, who really wouldn’t have much to look forward to, if it weren’t for this Program.

          

What a great way to start the Holiday Season!

Over 600 panels of printed material were produced in our Costa Mesa facility.

Each piece was carefully double checked and numbered before it left our facility.  Once inside the Luxor staging area, preparations were made…

Each piece was applied by hand.

The surface temperature on the outside of the Luxor on a cool day is 165 degrees. This day, the workers worked in the sun under blue skies.

The “wrap” started on Monday morning…

…and by Wednesday the entire side of the Luxor was fully wrapped, top to bottom.
